In addition to classes, Amherst Ballet offers workshops of various lengths focused on ballet technique, classical variations, choreography, and more. All workshops take place at our new studio, 65 Sunderland Road, Amherst.
Variations
January 24, 3:30-4:30pm: Kitri’s variation from Act I of Don Quixote
For dancers at Level 3 through adult, $20 per dancer. Scholarships available as needed. Contact info@amherstballet.org with questions. No registration needed; just show up!
Barre & Bar: Ballet Fundamentals
February 7, May 2, and August 1, 3:00-6:00pm, with social hour. Part of our quarterly ballet foundations series, focusing on ballet foundations for adult dancers who want to go deeper into technique: things you may never have learned if you are an adult beginner, or may have lost track of if you learned them a long time ago. Appropriate for beginner dancers who have taken several classes through advanced dancers. Come for the workshop and stay to hang out! Max 20 students. Week-long Summer Workshops
Ballet Days Workshop. Ages 6-10.
August 10-14, 9:00-4:00
Tuition: $600/week
Includes class, stretching, conditioning, improvisation/creative movement, music, watching ballet, and ballet history.

Back-to-ballet Intensive. Ages 11+.
August 17-21, 9:00-4:00
