As we grow into our new studio, Amherst Ballet is beginning to build new community partnerships.
We are excited to have begun relationships with the Amherst and Northampton Survival Centers, to ensure that dancers in their communities know we offer accessible classes, workshops, and performance experience. With the Amherst Survival Center, we are developing programming tailored to the Amherst Survival Center’s community.
As performing artists, many of us have needed the support and nourishment that places like the Amherst Survival Center provide, and we are so grateful for them and the opportunity to develop programs with them.
We are also building relationships with local libraries, offering free programming such as our November event at the Hadley Public Library, which told the story and included a dance selection from our 2025 winter show, The Snow Maiden.
We are looking forward to continuing to partner with libraries, which provide so many amazing resources to local communities.
