Things that Fly: Summer Dance Workshop

Amherst Ballet Spring Vacation Workshop "Things That Fly"

Anna Plummer, who led the fun-filled, activity-packed, dance-intensive vacation workshop, “Emily of Amherst” in April, will be back to host another exciting workshop this summer!

In this workshop, dancers will explore the life of birds and bugs, create wings and do other flying-related craft, and rehearse dance pieces inspired by flight.

Typical daily schedule includes ballet class, outside exploration, rehearsal, craft, reading/watching video time, and yoga/stretch. Throughout these activities, we strictly follow the state guidelines to ensure dancers’ safety.

Students will have a chance to share their work with parents/guardians in a small performance at the end of the week.

Monday, July 19 – Friday, July 23    9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Tuition: $320
For ages 6-9
No previous experience of ballet required.
