Master Class with Mucuy Bolles

Ms. Bolles’ career spanned over 26 years during which she performed as a soloist and principal dancer with many companies such as Feld Ballet, Zvi Dance, Complexions, Elisa Monte Dance, Buglisi/Foreman Dance, Lar Lubovitch Dance Company, and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Broadway credits include: The Red Shoes, The King and I, and The Lion King. Teaching credits include Eliot Feld’s Ballet Tech, Judge and Master Teacher for the Youth American Grand Prix and coach for the New York International Ballet Competition. Her most recent performances were as Sleeping Beauty in Lar Lubovitch’s retelling of the ancient tale entitled The Black Rose, which premiered at the Joyce Theater in NYC in October 2014. Ms. Bolles lives in Southern Vermont where she teaches locally at the New England Center for Circus Arts and Brattleboro School of Dance and is co-owner of Three Stones Mayan Mexican Cocina for which she and her husband Chris Makay are James Beard 2017 semifinalists for Best Chef of the Northeast.
Ms. Bolles will be giving a ballet class for Intermediate and Advanced dancers which focuses on alignment, musicality, connecting movement and moving through space in an organic way.
Students will have a chance to hear about her life as a dancer after the class.
